Annual Meeting Notice: Sunday, January 31, 2021
Notice is hereby given for the Annual Meeting of the Parish of St. Paul’s, Benicia, on Sunday, January 31, 2021 for the purpose of election of members to Vestry and Diocesan Convention, for the reception of reports, and for the transaction of any other business which may legally and canonically come before the meeting. The meeting will take place immediately after the 10 am digital service.
Monthly Communion Starting in February
Our Christmas Eucharist went so well that next month we’ll begin a regular practice of communion on the first Sunday of the month. It will operate the same way, where you’ll be able to pick up pre-consecrated bread to consume during the Sunday live stream or on your own in the context of prayers laid out in the Communion at Home booklet. The Sunday livestream will be preceded by a small outdoor Eucharist in the Rectory yard to consecrate the hosts. More details are to come but mark your calendars now!

Delegates to Diocesan Convention Needed
Serving as a delegate to convention is a fun way to connect with other members of our church and other churches in the diocese. It’s also an important role that ensures the voice of St. Paul’s is heard in matters of diocesan governance. At convention, delegates vote on motions put before the diocese, elect members to diocesan boards and committees, and hear reports from various diocesan ministries. The convention in 2021 will likely take place Friday, Nov. 5 to Saturday, Nov. 6. It will also probably be digital. Delegates need to attend convention and have the option of attending a meeting on a Saturday in October where convention materials are previewed. You do not need any experience with diocesan matters or church governance — just a willingness to show up and represent St. Paul’s! If you’re interested, please contact Rev.
