The Peddlers’ Fair Is Back —

See Link to Volunteer

After being cancelled last year because of Covid, the Peddlers’ Fair will return for 2021.

Working with the City of Benicia to develop acceptable Covid protocols, we have gotten the “Go Ahead” to proceed with Peddlers’ Fair 2021! In order to meet California State Guidelines for reopening, we will need more people on First Street during the Fair than we have ever had in the past!  We will be posting people at every crosswalk and entrance to First Street and will have teams of “Rovers” through-out the Fair.  As usual, volunteers will act as Fair Ambassadors and encourage compliance with the usual safety and health guidelines; animals, bicycles, etc.

A fully vaccinated person will be able to enter the Fair without face coverings. For those that are unvaccinated face coverings will still be necessary.  By simply entering the Fair without a face covering, people are self-attesting to their vaccination status so……..we WILL NOT be in the enforcement business.   There will be signs everywhere explaining the

requirement and we will have masks available at each entrance for anyone that needs/wants one.

It is really important that we all step up for Peddlers’ Fair this year. There are many ways to help but we especially need more people on First Street during the Fair.

Below is a link to a Google Doc.  Please click on the link and sign up for your favorite Traffic Shift.  Please be sure to include your phone number and email address.

If traffic isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other opportunities for you to be involved in the Fair.  Office Help, Check-in Team, Quality Control, Street Marking, Tow Letter Distribution, Advertising/PR, St. Paul’s Information Booth, Parking Monitor, Trash/Recycle Patrol, etc.

Team Captains for all of these activities will be contacting you soon.

Please be prepared to jump in and help with this important event in the life of St. Paul’s and our community.

Thanks in advance to the entire St. Paul’s family for your support!
