Easter Season Garden Tours Summary
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the St. Paul’s Easter Season Garden Tours last Sunday.  The event brought together St. Paul’s members and friends to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each of the gardens on the tour. A special thanks of appreciation to Gene Ekenstam and Rev. Mary Goshert, Richard Padfield and Mark Duncan, Catherine and Leo Harrod, Mary Frances Kelly Poh, and Ginny Green and Larry Lutz for showcasing your gardens. Thanks also to Vestry members Judy White and Ken Nowinski, who organized and handled registration, and Heather Healy, Helen Kennedy-Lazar, Kim Rodekohr, Cathy Cellini, and Jorge Castaneda, who served as hosts at each home. Funds were raised from the tour admission and purchase of raffle tickets of garden-themed gifts. The raffle will take place this Sunday during coffee hour.

Re-Opening Task Force Survey #2 Due May 12

As vaccination rates increase, the St. Paul’s Church re-opening task force is hard at work planning our reopening. Answering the short survey will give the team more information about the best way to do that. There are also a couple questions about the joys and sorrows you’ve experienced this year; this will help the worship committee plan services that honor all that we’ve been through as a community. You can find the link to the survey in the Friday online announcements. If you are unable to access the link to the survey, contact the church office and we’ll mail you a paper copy. Thank you to those who’ve already completed your surveys.

Two New Diocesan Sacred Ground Circles Forming

Beginning May 13, 2021

Thursdays, 1-3 pm or 7-8:30 pm

Sacred Ground is a 10-part discussion about race, grounded in faith. Participants are invited to view selected videos and read books and articles about Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories and how they intersect with European-American accounts. The materials also examine the church’s evolving teachings on race relations. The series is open to all, but it is especially designed to help White people talk about race with other White people. Hosted by Bob Wohlsen, Social Justice Advocate, Santa Rosa, and Sharron Simpson, Spiritual Director and Educator, Santa Rosa, the circles will meet weekly via Zoom. See the Friday online announcements for details to contact the hosts.
