Celebrating Mark Sackett’s 20 Years as St. Paul’s Contemporary Music Director                             Sunday, Sept. 26 at the 11 am Service

Please join us on Sunday, Sept. 26 at the 11 a.m. service as we celebrate Mark Sackett’s 20 years as the Contemporary Music Director at St. Paul’s.  Following the service there will be a simple, outdoor coffee hour.

Mark is well known for his festive (and sometimes themed) Hawaiian Aloha shirts.  Please join in the fun and don your favorite Aloha shirt to wear to church that Sunday (or just substitute a bright colored shirt!).  That way we can all join in the fun!

All covid-related protocols will remain in place for this service and coffee hour; please be sure to check the weekly announcements for the latest information.

Sierra Service Project Returns in 2022

Hooray! The Sierra Service Project is going live again in the summer of 2022!   The wonderful work of serving in disadvantaged communities, building in faith and community with others, and the just plain fun of sharing in a new experience is just around the corner!

If you have a youth or know of a youth that would be interested in serving or knowing more about the program, please let us know!  Youth advancing from eighth grade to those through high school are eligible to attend.  To learn more, go to www.sierraserviceproject.org or contact me or SSP coordinator Tom Sauter via the St. Paul’s Church Office at (707) 745-0307 or admin@stpaulsbenicia.org.

Please let us know as soon as possible as priority registration is opening up in October.

On His Hook, Steve Rodekohr
