Outreach is the work we do that stretches outside our walls and into a world of need.
Abraham Path Project
We have enjoyed many wonderful experiences walking along the path of Abraham and his family. In the past few years we have learned about the radical hospitality that we are called to as children of Abraham. We have learned that, with the various faiths practiced as one of Abraham’s countless offspring, we all share the same God, a God we are called to serve by loving one another. Mark your calendars for our wind-up celebration, a Cultural Diversity Fair, on March 19, 2017. We are inviting members of local churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples to share their activities in the community. Food and entertainment will be provieded. If you would like to get involved, please contact Judy Furlong, Abraham Path Coordinator, at email@example.com.
Feed the Hungry Community Meal
Every Wednesday from 4:30-6 pm for the past 19 years St. Paul’s has served between 125-150 hot, healthy meals to anyone who walks through our doors. This is possible because of a great group of dedicated volunteers from St. Paul’s and members of Heritage Presbyterian Church and the Benicia Kiwanis Club and donations from the community. Everyone is welcome for dinner. Volunteers are always needed to help with the Food Bank pick up on Mondays and to help in the kitchen. If you can help two hours once a month, we can use you!
