Sat. May 11: Radical Rest for Busy Moms Featuring Sound Healing by BrandiBette Smead

Rest as a spiritual practice is more than a nap. It is a radical statement of resistance against grind culture, capitalism, and white supremacy. Drawing on the work of theologians Walter Bruggemann and Tricia Hersey (a.k.a. “The Nap Bishop”), we will gather in the middle of a busy and stressful season to rest and daydream in community.

This event will feature local sound healer BrandiBette Smead, who will take us on a sonic journey as we rest.

Date: Saturday, May 11, 2024
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Location: St. Paul’s Parish Hall

Limited to 20 participants. Bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, and wear comfortable clothing.
